Journal# 6: My Dream Bedroom

If I got to choose my dream bedroom I would have a lot of thing in it. My room would be so big that I'd be able to fit a whole basketball court in it with room to spare. My bedroomwould have a king size sleep number bed with a black four post canopy. My whole room would be blue and black with a Paris theme. I would have a chandelier hanging from my ceiling. My walls would have little effiel towers decorated on it, while one whole wall would be dedicate to Chris Brown with posters of him hanging up. Plus, I would have a 72' flat screen with an Xbox One and PS4. There would be a CD rack full of Chris Brown and other artist's music.
My room would have four doors that connected it. In the first door would be my own basketball court with stands and a locker room. In there I would play basketball with all of my friends and work on some basic skills like ball handling, passing, and my defensive stances. Because I would have a basketball court connected to my room, my friends and I would never have to worry about finding an available court at the local parks. Behind the next door would be a walk-in closet. My closet would be filled with rows and rows of shoes and clothes. I would never have again have to worry about what I should wear the next day. In this closet there would be a big full length mirror and a vanity to the side, so I could do my hair and make up. Next, I would have a beautiful bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and top of the line shower. Finally, I would have my own built in movie theater. This would be where I would relax and watch all the newest movies out. This is what my dream bedroom would be like.

Journal #4

"We got another one" I yelled in the house. There on my front porch was another whole human. Once my dad heard me, he quickly ran to the porch to take it inside. He took it into the basement as he usually does. About five minutes later I heard my dad yell " Johnny, come down stairs, I want to talk". On my way down to the basement I heard my mom say "do you think he's ready to know? I don't think its a good idea."
When I reached the bottom of the stairs I saw the package I had recently seen on the porch, except it was open. I sat at the bottom of the staircase patiently waiting for them to call me over. My dad walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders pushing me into the direction of the box. At first I was hesitant , but I continued to walk forward. When I reached the table where the box was placed my dad told me to go ahead and look inside. Inside the box there was zip-lock bags labeled "fingers", "ears", "heart", and so on. I immediately stepped back with my eyes as wide as they have ever been. I tried walking upstairs but my dad grabbed me and sat me down on a chair. He said " I know your scared son, but this is a family business. You have to understand that." All I remember saying after that was "family business"?.... To Be Continued

Journal #23

If I had to choose if I consider myself to be and introvert or extrovert I would say I was extrovert. I feel that I was an extrovert because I have an vocal personality. When I am with my friends I like to joke around , be loud, and act crazy. I love joking around with my friends because I like to laugh and I feel good when I make other laugh. Next, I like to be loud around my friends because I think it is fun. We can talk junk about one another and still laugh about it and continue to have a good time. Also, when I act crazy by making faces or do something weird and funny which makes my friends laugh. I am crazy for the way I go off or speak my mind. I am an extrovert because I care about what other think about me and my appears in public. That is why I feel as though I am more of an extrovert.

Ten Copies

If I had ten copies of myself for a day I would have them do many things. First, I would have about five of my clones (copies) study for my finals and each clone would have a different subject. That would include reading all the chapters we learned in each subject over again, making flash cards, and going over old tests to review the right answers. Next, I would have a clone go sky diving. I would rather my clone go sky diving because I would be too scared to actually do it and at the end of the day all of their memories would become mine. I would be able to remember sky diving without having to risk doing it. Then, I would have one of my clones attend school for me and do my homework so I could sleep in and not worry about doing work all day. Another one of my clones would do all my chores or favors my mom asked me to do around the house. Finally, the last two clones would pamper me all day. They would give me manicure, pedicures, facials, and cook for me when I get hungry. Having ten clones for a day would be overall good for me.

Extra Credit: A Stupid Text

I didn't mean to do it.
It was just a stupid text.
There weren't many cars
on the road.
It came out of nowhere.
How was I,
How could I,
I didn't know there was,
a little boy,
eight years old,
name was Thomas.
I'm sorry.
It was just a stupid text.
It read "lol".
That "lol" cost his life.
It cost his mothers' life.
It cost my sanity.
How can I live with,
I can't live with the guilt.
All of this over,
a stupid text.
I heard that the husband
goes to counseling now.
I broke a family.
That kid,that mother
didn't anything to,
deserve that.
All because of a stupid text.
All because I didn't think.
All because I am a killer.
All because I was selfish,
I am a killer now.

Journal #17

High school can be considered the best of times, but the worst of times. High School can be considered the best of times because it's a time where you do not have responsibilities, a time when you are young, and you can be free to have fun with no worries. Also, it is a time where you learn about yourself and about things like who your real friends are. Some reasons why high school can be the worst times is the stress that can come from the exams and school work in high school. Plus, there is a lot of drama that happens during your high school years. Finally, it can be an uphill battle trying to get good grades so that you can get in a good college. There are many bad and good things in high school.

Journal 13

If I could have a personal assistant for a week I would choose William Shakespeare. I choose him because he is good at writing and English is my lowest grade at school. As an assistant I would want Shakespeare to do all of my English school work because we are learning different poems this quarter and that is what he is good at. Also, I would want him to do any of my English projects that I have been assigned. I feel that as him being a talented writer of poems that he would be a good at reading and inrepreting poems so, he could help me if I had any assignments assigned to me in that class. Plus, I would want to ask him questions about his work and reasons why he wrote certain things. I feel as if this would be a good opportunity to understand more about him and his work. Finally, I would want him to help me understand other poems that I have read and the meaning behind some of them. That's why William Shakespeare would be the person I would choose to be my personal assistant for the week.
